The Erbil International Fair, the 8th International Multi Sector Trade Fair, will take place on 15-18 October 2012 at the Erbil International Fairground in Erbil, Kurdistan Region – Iraq. The exhibition is the largest general trade fair organized in Iraq, covering a wide range of sectors and benefiting from the support of a large number of trade promotion agencies, chambers of commerce, trade unions and associations, ministries and embassies.
In 2011, Erbil International Fair attracted:
850 exhibitors from 22 countries showcasing a wide selection of products and services from a diverse range of sectors including engineering, electronics, construction, energy, furniture, interiors, IT, telecommunications, education, fashion, banking, jewelry, handicrafts and much more.
Around 75,000 visitors, including scores of government officials, institutional buyers, diplomats, business owners, agents and distributors coming from all over Iraq.
This year, in addition to its regular exhibits, Erbil International Fair 2012 includes 2 new sectors: Education and Tourism. These additions to the show promise an even larger turnout, offering huge business opportunities and high-profile networking possibilities all in one place.

Erbil International Fairground is considered the most modern venue in Iraq, and is conveniently located next to the Sami Abdel Rahman Park in the Center of Erbil. The venue offers 24,000 sqm of exhibition space, an air-conditioned hall of 19,000 sqm and an additional outside exhibition area of 5000 sqm.
