Two military personnel return to Iraq after the 2003 Iraq war under the auspices of archaeologists to recover a stolen Medes artifact hidden deep in the uncharted mountainous territory of Kurdistan, they form a team with locals and trek to the artifacts location, but as they close in on the area they find their emotions and traits become amplified through a mysterious supernatural entity that manipulates and dissipates the team.
