As part of its Summer Startup Festival, Five One Labs will be hosting a panel entitled “Fostering a Culture of Entrepreneurship in Kurdistan,” which will feature a discussion among leading experts. It will take place on 2 August, 2017 at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Mselect Office located on Danyal Qassab Street (near the Hawler Hospital, off 100 meters street) Erbil, Kurdistan Region.

In addition to discussing their own experiences with entrepreneurial ecosystems both within and outside of Kurdistan, the esteemed panel will address questions including: What are the opportunities for entrepreneurship in Kurdistan, especially for young people? What kind of support do entrepreneurs specifically in Kurdistan need and is this different from types of support entrepreneurs outside of the region receive? How can we draw on the lessons learned in entrepreneurial ecosystems in other parts of the world? How can we ensure that the ecosystem is inclusive of everyone in Kurdistan? There will also be opportunity for attendees to ask the audience questions.

The event is free to attend and appetizers and refreshments will be served.
